Please do not swim very far out. It is dangerous because there are lots of boats at most times, especially in the first half of the day when all dive and snorkel boats are going out.
If you swim out there is nothing to see… No reefs, few fish. The fish are on the corals closer to the shore. The current is stronger when you swim out and is also dangerous.
If buoys are present. swim within the boundaries of the buoys.
We want you to be safe at all times.
Please heed this warning as we had guests almost run over by boats and jet skis.
Be aware that the other side of the island, the east side, has the most spectacular beaches, long white and sandy, the loneliness; two miles per couple.
Is open sea, the currents are very very strong, and swimming is not recommended.
